Aarón Sevilla, DJ Care and MikroBeats Bring a Classic Influence Into the Afro House Era with «Jaguar»

Aarón Sevilla, DJ Care and MikroBeats join forces on «Jaguar», a new Afro House production drawing inspiration from one of electronic music’s most recognisable records. Having already been road-tested across Afrodise events this summer, the track receives its official release this Friday, 25 September.

For some records, the first real test comes after release.

For «Jaguar», it came on the dance floor.

The collaboration between Aarón Sevilla, DJ Care and MikroBeats was introduced during Afrodise events across the summer, with the track making appearances at international venues including Playa Soleil Ibiza and BCM Mallorca, among others.

Played by Aarón Sevilla and DJ Care during their sets, «Jaguar» quickly became part of the live experience, giving audiences the chance to hear the production before its official release.

Now the track is ready to leave the dance floor and reach a much wider audience.

A meeting of complementary sounds

«Jaguar» brings together three artists whose respective approaches converge around contemporary Afro House.

Aarón Sevilla, the Mexican artist known for his percussion-led approach and strong connection with the dance floor, brings a distinctive rhythmic identity to the collaboration.

Colombian artist DJ Care adds his experience across Afro House, Deep House and organic electronic sounds, combining DJing and production within a versatile musical approach.

Meanwhile, MikroBeats provides the production framework, adding depth and precision to the track’s overall sonic character.

The release follows their previous collaboration, «Sinnerman», which spent more than three months inside Beatport’s Top 10 Hype Afro House chart.

From electronic heritage to the modern dance floor

At the heart of «Jaguar» is a reference to «Knights Of The Jaguar», a track firmly established within electronic music culture.

Rather than attempting a straightforward recreation, the trio use the reference as a starting point for something distinctly contemporary.

Afro House percussion, deep low-end, organic textures and hypnotic progression shape the production, allowing the influence of the original to sit naturally alongside the sound of today’s clubs and festivals.

The result is a track that acknowledges its electronic heritage while remaining firmly focused on the present.

Tested in Ibiza, Mallorca and beyond

«Jaguar» has already travelled through a number of Afrodise experiences this summer, reaching audiences across international dance floors before its official release.

Its first chapter was therefore written in the clubs and at the events themselves.

From 25 September, the track will become available across major digital platforms through Afrodise, opening the release to listeners worldwide.
