Dance music powerhouse GRYFFIN today unveils the official remix pack for ‘Without You,’ his hit collaboration with rising producer AVELLO and singer-songwriter Sasha Alex Sloan, out now via 10K Projects.
Building on the emotional pull and melodic foundation of ‘Without You,’ the remix package brings together ten producers from across the electronic spectrum, each putting their own stamp on the collaboration. Dave Summer channels his tech house grooves into a club-focused rework, while TELYKAST leans into the euphoric progressive side of their dance-pop sound. Dutch artist TOO BIASED, minimal dubstep DJ Phrva, and Denver-based PapaJay take the track into darker territory with bass-heavy approaches. Canadian producer Fairlane taps into his hard-hitting melodic bass sound, while fast-rising trap-pop maker St. Mary adds a more experimental touch. Up-and-comers Heads or Tails, future bass act Tarrow, and Philadelphia’s RYN round out the collection with high-energy, festival-ready interpretations. Together, the remixes stretch ‘Without You’ from its emotive core across the dance music spectrum, and join the recently released GorillaT remix.
The remix pack arrives amid a milestone year for GRYFFIN as he celebrates a decade of music while looking ahead to his fourth studio album ELEMENTS I. The ELEMENTS era has seen era has seen GRYFFIN push into new corners of his sound through releases alongside BUNT., Excision, GRiZ, YDG, and LAVERN, balancing the melodic songwriting at the heart of his catalog with heavier, club-driven experimentation.
Last weekend, he surprised fans with his first-ever B2B with Alesso at Brooklyn Army Terminal, bringing together two of melodic dance music’s defining names for a rare joint set. The pair will reunite this Fall during the Los Angeles edition of GRYFFIN’s Ten Years Of Music limited concert series, which continues with upcoming stops at New York’s Under The K Bridge and Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
