Arriving at the booth ready to start a set only to discover that something is not working is one of the most dreaded situations for any DJ. Cases such as Zedd at Ultra Miami 2023, Grimes at Coachella 2024 and, more recently, issues related to certain CDJ-3000 updates have shown that technical failures can affect any artist, regardless of their experience or the stage they are performing on.

This is where Save My Gig comes in. The free platform introduces the concept of DJ Booth Intelligence, a systematic approach to technical preparation designed to help professional DJs and booth teams prevent problems before a gig, react with greater control when something goes wrong and turn every experience into knowledge for future performances.
The platform brings together tools such as Pre-Gig Checklists, Knowledge Base, Equipment Field Manuals, Emergency Protocols and Interactive Diagnostics, creating a preparation and response environment specifically designed around the real needs of artists and their teams.
Its Knowledge Base brings together information on equipment, software, firmware, terminology, known issues, FAQs, professional tips and recovery procedures. The Field Manuals go a step further, providing practical, model-specific information on some of the most commonly used equipment in DJ booths, going beyond standard manufacturer specifications.
The goal is clear: understand your equipment before you have to deal with a problem.
From checking compatibility and discovering hidden features to identifying potential issues and knowing what to avoid, the platform allows DJs to arrive at the booth better prepared. And when something does go wrong, its Emergency Protocols and Interactive Diagnostics help identify potential causes, eliminate variables and find a structured solution instead of relying entirely on improvisation under pressure.

One of Save My Gig’s key advantages is that the platform also works offline.
Its tools, technical knowledge and emergency resources can remain available without an internet connection, precisely in the situations and locations where they may be needed most: at the booth, during a soundcheck or in the middle of a gig.

In addition, SURU.Music, the community founded by Timo Maas and Dan Duncan (Pig&Dan), selected Save My Gig for its first workshop and live demonstration dedicated to DJ Booth Intelligence. The session focused on preparation, prevention and diagnosis — three of the platform’s core pillars for making life on the road easier and more secure for artists.
Available in English, Spanish and Portuguese, Save My Gig is free to use and works both online and offline. It can also be installed as a PWA, allowing it to function directly as an app on your device.
